Inglewood sits just north of East Nashville, between Gallatin Pike and the river, and most of our work here has been inside the house. Our recent Inglewood projects are on Litton Avenue, Spain Avenue, Maynor Avenue and McGinnis Drive, all in 37216. They range from single bathrooms and porch steps to several rooms at once.
What Inglewood owners ask us for has a pattern. The original houses get opened up and updated, the new builds on split lots get personalised, and in both cases the work goes into feature walls, built-ins and trim as much as into the walls.
Feature walls and limewash

A limewashed fireplace wall, Litton Ave.
On Litton Avenue we limewashed the fireplace wall floor to ceiling and kept the rest of the room a crisp flat white. Limewash gives a soft, cloudy texture that flat paint can't, and on one wall it becomes the focal point of an open plan. See our limewash painting service, or our limewash guide for how it differs from paint.

The same house: bedrooms with vaulted ceilings, walls and trim.
Built-ins and colour

Painted built-ins and a window seat, Spain Ave.
On Spain Avenue the job ran through several rooms, including floor-to-ceiling built-ins around a window seat. Built-ins take a cabinet-grade finish, not wall paint, so the doors and drawers stand up to daily use. It's the same prep and enamel we use for kitchen cabinets.

Two tones in one room: a darker wall against a lighter blue-grey, Spain Ave.
If you're torn between colours, our colour consultation helps. For whole rooms in deep colour, see colour drenching.
Dark trim and the small jobs

Dark window trim and door against light walls, McGinnis Dr.

Front steps repainted on the same job.
Not every job is a whole house. On McGinnis Drive we painted the interior with dark trim and added the front steps to the same visit. On Maynor Avenue we did a focused interior scope. Small jobs get the same written scope and fixed price as big ones.
For the outside of an Inglewood house, see our exterior painting page. Our East Nashville page also covers how we approach the area's brick homes.
What it costs here
All four of our recent Inglewood projects were interiors, priced from about $1,100 to about $3,600. For room-by-room numbers, see our interior painting cost guide. If you're planning several rooms, read how to manage a multi-room project.
How we quote it
Send photos and rough measurements through the form. You get a fixed price back within 24 hours, with a written scope naming every room, surface and coat count. There's no in-home sales visit, and the price doesn't move once the work starts. Walls with old cracks or patches get drywall repair written into the scope up front.
We also paint across Nashville, in East Nashville next door and up the Pike in Madison.

What Our Customers Say
“Just had a ceiling painted by Those Guys and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Very clear communication in organizing the job and the work was top quality. Will always be getting quotes from them in the future for any other painting jobs I need.”
“If you're looking for a painting company that truly cares about their craft, look no further. We recently hired them to repaint our girls' playset, and they completely exceeded our expectations. Their attention to detail is exceptional. They spent a massive amount of time prepping to ensure our yard and the surrounding areas were fully protected, and they even took the extra time to carefully remove all the little hardware pieces so the stain only went exactly where it belonged. They were incredibly thorough and never rushed the process, yet they still worked with impressive efficiency. What really stood out was how proactive and accommodating they were. Instead of just diving in, they tested a small patch first to double-check that we’d be happy with our color choice. Their instincts were spot-on—it wasn't going to blend with the original color at all. They patiently helped us pivot and make a better decision, ensuring we ended up with a finish we absolutely love. Communication beforehand and during was great. They were helpful, honest, and meticulous every step of the way. I highly recommend them! The before and after photos speak for themselves. The playset looks brand new!”
“Cannot say enough about this company. Super quick turnaround, excellent communication, amazing work.. Andrew couldn’t have been more helpful, and we couldn’t be more pleased— thanks guys! You rock!”
