We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you:
- Request a quote — name, email address, phone number, property address, and project details
- Make a payment — payment is processed securely through Stripe; we do not store your credit card number, and Stripe’s handling of your data is governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy
- Contact us — name, email, phone number, and the content of your message
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies:
- Google Analytics (GA4) — collects anonymized usage data such as pages visited, time on site, device type, browser, and approximate geographic location. Google’s use of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy
- Google Ads — we use Google Ads conversion tracking and the Google Click Identifier (GCLID) cookie to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. This cookie is stored for up to 90 days
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — we use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API to measure our Facebook and Instagram advertising and to show our ads to people who have visited this site or requested a quote. Meta sets the “_fbp” and “_fbc” cookies, and when you request a quote we may send Meta a hashed (SHA-256) version of your email, phone number, name and zip code so it can match the request to an ad. Meta’s use of this data is governed by Meta’s Privacy Policy; you can adjust ad preferences in your Facebook settings
- HubSpot — we use HubSpot’s tracking code to manage our customer relationship management (CRM) system. This sets a cookie (“hubspotutk”) to identify returning visitors. HubSpot’s handling of your data is governed by HubSpot’s Privacy Policy
- Vercel Analytics — collects anonymized, aggregated performance and usage data. No personally identifiable information is collected. See Vercel’s Analytics Privacy Policy

We use the information we collect to:
- Prepare and deliver quotes for painting services
- Process payments and manage billing
- Communicate with you about your project, scheduling, and services
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support

How We Share Your Information

- Payment processors — Stripe, to process payments securely
- CRM provider — HubSpot, to manage customer relationships and communications
- Analytics and advertising providers — Google, Meta and Vercel, for website analytics and advertising measurement (contact details shared with Google or Meta for ad matching are hashed first)
- Hosting provider — Vercel, which hosts our website
We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

TGPC Crew App
The TGPC Crew mobile app is used only by our employees and subcontractors, by invitation. It is not offered to customers or the public. When you use it, we collect:
- Account details — your name and the phone number you sign in with (verified by a text-message code).
- Location only when you tap a button — when you tap “I’m Here” or clock out, the app records your phone’s GPS position at that moment to confirm you were at the job site. If the office has set you up to place yard signs, tapping “Drop yard sign” records the sign’s position, the date and an optional note, so it appears on our office map. The app does not track your location in the background or between taps.
- Time records — the times you clock in and out of each job, used for payroll and job records.
- Photos, receipts and messages — job photos and receipt images you choose to upload from your photo library, and messages you send in job chats and in direct chats with the office.
- Agreement signature — the name you type to accept your crew or subcontractor agreement, with the date and your device type.
- Device notification token — so we can send you job notifications. It is removed when you sign out.
We use this information only to run our jobs: scheduling, pay, job records, warranty documentation and communication with the crew. It is not used for advertising and is never sold. Besides our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Supabase), it is shared only with service providers that make the app work: Apple, Google and Expo to deliver notifications, our payroll provider (Gusto) to pay employees, and AI service providers that translate job messages between languages and read receipt images.
Deleting your crew app account
You can delete your crew app account at any time: tap “Delete account” at the bottom of the app’s “Me” tab (in versions before 1.4, at the bottom of the home screen) and confirm. This immediately closes your login and removes your device’s notification token; you are signed out and can no longer sign in. If you can’t open the app, email manager@thoseguyspaintingco.com from the phone number or name on your account and we will do the same within 30 days. The crew app is a work tool, so records of the work itself — your job chats with our office, clock-in times and locations, pay and tax records, signed agreements and job photos that form part of a customer’s project record — are kept as company records for as long as the law, payroll and our warranty obligations require.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Quote and project records are retained for the duration of our business relationship plus the applicable statute of limitations period.
Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS encryption. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data)
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information below. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
